Our Second Annual BBQ Cook-off Festival was a huge success raising over $23,000 for Addies Place CAC. We would like to thank Lippert and Looney's Amphitheatre and Cultural Center for hosting the event, Alabama Custom Cabins for building and supplying our Cook-off Judges with a cabin to work from, and all of our sponsors, vendor's and patrons for supporting us.

Members from Addie's Place joined ANCAC to host and event with Detective Mike Johnson for a two day seminar in Haleyville. Michael Johnson (“Detective Mike”) is an internationally recognized expert on all aspects of child abuse and exploitation and specializes in abuse investigation, detection, and prevention efforts for organizations serving youth.
Addie's Place Child Advocacy Center serves both Marion and Winston counties. We are a 501 c 3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible. Addie's Place provides children who have experienced sexual, physical or mental abuse a safe environment to tell their story. If they disclose abuse then we offer the children and their family counseling and victim advocacy. We are supported completely by grants, donations and fundraising events. Please consider giving to a great cause to support the children in your community who have been victimized.
